What is Fireballs?
Fireballs is our junior tennis program for both members and non-members.
Practice includes work-outs, clinics, spin-arounds (court games and
contests), and weekly scrimmages or Interclub matches. Coach selections
are based on three important criteria: tennis experience, coaching
ability, and enthusiasm for the game. Each coach's unique skills,
background, and personality add up to a positive experience for the
players. Student to coach ratio is five to one.
Goals for Fireballs
Fireballs helps juniors ages 8 to 14 develop their tennis
skills in a sociable and supportive group environment. Our classes are
designed to:
- stimulate a lifelong enthusiasm for tennis as both an individual and team sport
- encourage communication between coaches, players, and parents by providing regular progress reports to each player
- actively promote safety and good sportsmanship
