 Masters Swimming 
All levels are welcome! We are a group of adults that love to swim! We motivate each other to workout, have fun doing it, and meet new like-minded people. We learn stroke efficiency and do a lot of stroke technique work, as well.

Our practice times are:
Mon, Wed, Fri 11:30am - 1:30 pm

You may come and go as you wish; most workouts last an hour to an hour and a half.

Members: Free
Non-Members: $60 per month
 PASA Foothills Year-Round Swimming 

The PASA program is hosted at Foothills but is not run by Foothills Club. For all information on the PASA Foothills program, click here.

PASA uses five of the seven swim lanes during practice. Lanes 6 & 7, the diving board and the wading pool are always left available for lap and rec swimming.

For the 17th year in a row, our tradition of coming to FTSC and swimming with friends (before we indulge in the festivities of eating) was a huge success!  This Thanksgiving Day we filled up water balloons – which were used as target ammunition.  Swimmers that attended our fun event were given a water balloon to throw at our large target board that had mini swim sets taped to it.  Each swimmer that threw a water balloon tried to hit one of those workouts so we could enjoy a fun few laps together.  A few examples of the workouts were – pull on the lane lines for 2 lengths of the pool like a koala bear, sit on a kickboard and pull yourself to the other side, partner swimming (one person does the arms and the other does the legs) and most favorite I am sure is swim for a length, get out and do push-ups (repeat)!  To finish our day, we did a few relays – the first was to swim with oven mitts (extremely hard to do since they weigh so much wet) and the last one was our “king chair relay”.  This relay involved placing the lightest swimmer each team had and put them in a chair as we carried the swimmer for a 50 yard race – a super fun way to end our time together!   As you can see it doesn’t require you to be a great swimmer to come and enjoy our Turkey Day swim – next year I hope you put it on your calendars to join us!

 Swim Together Classes 

Note: These classes are currently on hold due to low sign-ups. Email or call the office or Dave if you are interested. 

Baby & Me
1 - 3 years old • Tues & Thurs 10:30–11am
These classes are for one caretaker and a baby, age 1 to 3 years.  Class is 30 minutes, with 25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of play. Student/Teacher ratio is 6:1. The goal of the class is to provide a positive water experience for both the child and caregiver through the use of songs and games. Babies will learn to become comfortable with the water and we will introduce them to balance, buoyancy, and breath control at their own pace.  Safety skills include grasping the side of the pool, back floats, and underwater submersions (if ready).

Toddler & Me
3 - 5 years old • Tues & Thurs 11–11:30am

These classes are for one caretaker and a toddler, age 3 to 5 years. Class is 30 minutes, with 25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of play. Student/Teacher ratio is 6:1. The goal of the class is to provide a positive water experience for both the child and caregiver through the use of songs and games.  Toddlers will learn to become comfortable with the water and we will introduce them to balance, buoyancy, and breath control.  They will learn to move forward by kicking and paddling.  Safety skills include grasping the side of the pool, climbing out of the pool, back floats, and underwater submersion (if ready).

Session 1: May 3 to May 19
Session 2: May 24 to June 9
Session 3: June 14 to June 30
Session 4: July 5 to July 21

Cost per 3 week session (6 classes total):
$120 members • $150 non-members
