MEN’S SWIM CLINIC

We are kicking off our first Men’s swim clinic this Saturday the 29th of September from 9:45-10:45am.  All men of the club that are willing to learn a little about freestyle should come – all abilities are welcome! 

WOMEN’S SWIM CLINIC

We are continuing our Women’s swim clinic October 4th – 10:30-11:30am.  We will be brushing up on freestyle and working on backstroke this month. 

TURKEY DAY SWIM

Our 19th annual fun filled Turkey Day Swim will once again be held on Thanksgiving Day (November 22nd) from 10:00am to 11:00am!  It is a great time to come to the club, see friends and familiar faces and get a great little workout before you cram down as much turkey your body can handle.  We make it an easy & fun day for all abilities…what makes this event fun is if you attend!  So come out and have some fun with us! All ages are welcome!

PASA:

We have our first swim meet at the DeAnza College pool the first weekend in October and our first candy meet at Rinconada - where many of our swimmers will race for their very first time!  Our next candy meet will be at LAGCC on Oct. 12 & 26th.    

If you are interested in joining the team…come anytime, we will love to have you (even if you only want to swim 1 day)!  You can look us up on the web for practice times and team details @ www.pasafoothills.com.

Saturday, October 6 = C/B/A + Swim Meet @ DeAnza College in Cupertino, hosted by the DACA swim club.  This is our first meet of the season! 

Saturday or Sunday, October 20/21 = C/B/A + Swim Meet @ Gunn High School, PASA Intrasquad

Saturday & Sunday, October 27 & 28 = C/B/A + Swim Meet @ CSM – hosted by the Burlingame Aquatic Club.  This is always a fun meet to attend as the coaches have a costume contest on Halloween.

Un-sanctioned Swim Meets: Some of these will be dual site meets (2 meets on the same day – different locations)   Fall candy league meet schedule C/B swimmers only (times not official for USA) 

September 28th = Rinconada – 4:00 warm-ups/4:45 starts
OCTOBER 12 & 26TH = LAGCC – 4:00 warm-ups/4:45 starts

Tour de’ PASA begins November 5thand ends November 22nd.The “Tour” involves a fun contest daily, and points are awarded for each place per day.At the end of the “Tour”, awards and great prizes will be given out.

 Masters Swimming 
All levels are welcome! We are a group of adults that love to swim! We motivate each other to workout, have fun doing it, and meet new like-minded people. We learn stroke efficiency and do a lot of stroke technique work, as well.

Our practice times are:
Mon, Wed, Fri 11:30am - 1:30 pm

You may come and go as you wish; most workouts last an hour to an hour and a half.

Members: Free
Non-Members: $60 per month

 PASA Foothills Year-Round Swimming 

The PASA program is hosted at Foothills but is not run by Foothills Club. For all information on the PASA Foothills program, click here.

PASA uses five of the seven swim lanes during practice. Lanes 6 & 7, the diving board and the wading pool are always left available for lap and rec swimming.

 Swim Together Classes 

Note: These classes are currently on hold due to low sign-ups. Email or call the office or Dave if you are interested. 

Baby & Me
1 - 3 years old • Tues & Thurs 10:30–11am
These classes are for one caretaker and a baby, age 1 to 3 years.  Class is 30 minutes, with 25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of play. Student/Teacher ratio is 6:1. The goal of the class is to provide a positive water experience for both the child and caregiver through the use of songs and games. Babies will learn to become comfortable with the water and we will introduce them to balance, buoyancy, and breath control at their own pace.  Safety skills include grasping the side of the pool, back floats, and underwater submersions (if ready).

Toddler & Me
3 - 5 years old • Tues & Thurs 11–11:30am

These classes are for one caretaker and a toddler, age 3 to 5 years. Class is 30 minutes, with 25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of play. Student/Teacher ratio is 6:1. The goal of the class is to provide a positive water experience for both the child and caregiver through the use of songs and games.  Toddlers will learn to become comfortable with the water and we will introduce them to balance, buoyancy, and breath control.  They will learn to move forward by kicking and paddling.  Safety skills include grasping the side of the pool, climbing out of the pool, back floats, and underwater submersion (if ready).

Session 2: May 24 to June 9
Session 3: June 14 to June 30
Session 4: July 5 to July 21

Cost per 3 week session (6 classes total):
$120 members • $150 non-members
